Tell me, Inge…

“Tell me, Inge…” is a VR experience based on Meta’s Oculus platform that uses artificial intelligence to tell the inspiring story of holocaust survivor Inge Auerbacher. Using StoryFile’s artificial intelligence technology, users can talk to Inge herself as if she were sitting in front of them. The project was a collaboration between Meta and StoryFile, and I worked in conjunction with both teams to provide UI and UX support on the VR experience and the website landing page.

The experience was created in German and English, and it was presented at the Meta event in Berlin in June 2023. A team of over twenty designers contributed to the project, including illustration, animation, 3D design, user experience design, graphic design, and game design. The project represents how we can utilize modern technology and design to preserve history in an engaging and impactful way.

My Proposal: Landing Page

The team at StoryFile was responsible for designing a desktop landing page to host information about the experience. Here is the layout I proposed to the team.

My Proposal: The Experience

StoryFile partnered with Meta to provide key visuals and direct the experience. Here is a still image of a suggested layout for the VR experience itself.
