About Me
Nice to meet you, I’m Jana. I’m a UX Designer with a passion for bettering others’ lives through design. User-centered design is a belief system I adopt in all aspects of my life, transforming data and design into enjoyable solutions.

After working as a visual designer for fashion, marketing, and media companies, I realized my design skills are maximized when connected to users and providing them tangible solutions. My career has evolved into a focus on UX design, with strengths in visual and interaction design. Because of my background, I have a deep understanding of how to create designs that are aesthetically pleasing, enjoyable to the user, and effective in achieving business goals. I thrive in UX roles that benefit from this unique combination of strengths.

I have been working as a UI/UX Designer for over 7 years, and have had the opportunity to work with many companies, some of which include: Meta, AEG, Evite, Safelite, StoryFile, Dame Dash Studios, Wolf & Shepherd, Adventures Croatia, and iMarket Design.

Beyond my strengths in design, I am innovative, business-minded, and a team player. Creativity is my superpower, and I am able to view problems from many angles to innovate solutions. My previous roles on marketing teams keep my designs sellable and relevant, with both business ROI and the user experience in mind. Working in varied professional environments has provided me an instinctual drive towards solutions that help drive both the user and the business. I thrive working in teams, where collaboration is valued and the user is priority.

In my free time I draw, learn languages, and connect with my family’s heritage through a music-focused Youtube channel. The channel has strengthened my understanding for other cultures and perspectives, and it has provided me with opportunities to approach design from a marketing perspective that appeals to a wide audience.
Below are some images of my past design creations, both personal and professional.
